Faurecia Interior Systems is looking for an Account Manager, Sales for its NENTS division in the Auburn Hills, MI office.
 

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Ensures that the commercial file transmitted by the program is complete and coherent and that the history of the commercial items (initial offer, changes, piece price-tooling-D&D evolution, any other agreement) are correctly documented internally with the related cost information and contractually communicated to the customer.
  • Monitors the prices and price break-down (Bill of Material, handling fees, assembly value, sold services, piece price amortization, other items sold) with the purchasing department as a consequence of the product definition and yearly negotiations.
  • Follows-up the diversity of the program in comparison with initial offer, prepares, gets validation and negotiates with the customer any impact on diversity.
  • Keeps update of the file (weight, material consumption net and gross, raw material reference prices) prepares, gets internal approval for cost changes linked to raw material situation.
  • Gets from customer cost changes on mandated components, calculates impact on product prices and validates the price changes with the customer. Makes sure that the cost changes from the said mandated suppliers are applied in time, regularly checks with Faurecia plants the cost situation on mandated components, submits claims to the customer in case of any discrepancy.
  • Records all the agreements with the customer and up dates the contractual documentation on the complete program,
  • Negotiate service part prices especially for service parts which are no longer common with current production.
  • Negotiate with related plants the deliveries of service parts in case of crises, and is the primary interface towards the customer in such cases.
  • Prepares the commercial price negotiation and gets approval for strategy, and for any offer before submission to customer.
  • Follows-up the Productivity portfolio (internal and external) and gets customer approvals for the changes.
  • Documents the ECR approval, prepares offers (piece prices, tooling, D&D). on the basis of the related cost information and gets internal approval before any submission to the customer. Gets from the customer the approval for the changes and launches the changes internally. Documents and follows-up the related payments.
  • Coordinates internally the various changes agreed with the customer, especially the model changes
  • Ensure documentation and written communication to customer of all obsolete files.
  • Follows-up the D&D and tooling payments, if these have not been completely paid during the program development and launch.
  • In case of PPA (Piece Price Amortization), follows-up the production volumes versus original commitment with customer, documents related claims, negotiates them separately or takes them into account in the yearly process negotiation.
  • Prepares offers for any prototype parts derived from serial production or for special request from customer, receives and checks orders from customer, and coordinates production planning with the related plants. Follows-up delivery, invoicing up to payment.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
  • The Account Manager shall support the leadership and commitment from top management according to the NAO environmental policy and ISO 14001:2015.
    The ideal candidate will have/be:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering with a specialization in Sales

    • Minimum 3 years experience in sales 

    • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills

    • Experience with OEM's and preferred with electric vehicle customers
    • Good business understanding
    • Good personal organization
    • Team player, ability to interface with the customer
    • Ability to work in a matrixed organisation

    • International mind set, strong analytical skills

    • Minimim bi-lingual (English required)
