Our Automotive Seating Business Group is looking for an Acquisition & Business Development Sales Engineer for its  TechCenter based at Etampes (91)
 
The Acquisition & Business Sales Engineer is responsible for managing acquisitions. He participates in the definition of the commercial strategy, ensures the robustness of the figures, and ensures that the economic indicators are in line with the objectives of the management.
The main missions of the position are:
 
Knowledge and Customer Relations:
▪ Collect and synthesize from the customer business unit all requests and wishes of customers
▪ Participate in customer exchanges after soliciting the customer business unit
▪ Interface with the customer business unit for all associated departments (innovation, pre-development, acquisition) in order to obtain a clear vision of the expected objectives and associated timing
▪ Participate in the creation of the strategic account plan, in connection with acquisitions
▪ Participate in promoting innovations to customers

Analysis of business cases and preparation of commercial offers:
▪ Establish the commercial strategy with the customer business unit
▪ Define the costing hypotheses with the acquisition team, and plan the delivery of the commercial offer
▪ Ensure the robustness of the figures and challenge the different costs raised
▪ Ensure that all risks are identified and controlled
▪ Validate prices and ensure their consistency
▪ Challenge the business plan with the costing and controling team

Communication and reporting:
▪ Ensure the communucation with different customers business unit
▪ Organize and present the economic summaries to the management
▪ Ensure that each proposal or modification submitted to the client is complete and in accordance with Faurecia commercial proposals
▪ Get the client's feedback on the proposal and communicate it internally
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialisation in Sales

  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales and in an industrial environment

  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organisation

  • International mind set, strong analytical skills

  • Minimim bi-lingual (English required)
