Our Communications department is looking for a Communications Manager for our North America Headquarters located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA.
The role of an Communications Manager is to build, manage and promote a positive and consistent image of the Group in North America according to the policy defined by the Communications Director. 

The main missions of the role are:
  • Develop a communication strategy and implementation plan
  • Develop communications tools in line with the strategy and action plan
  • Promote Faurecia's image to internal and external audiences
  • Negotiate and organize Faurecia's participation to automotive and/or professional fairs worldwide
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers (communication agencies, advertisement agencies, translators, designers…)
  • Technology Brand Communications – Reinforce Faurecia’s reputation as a thought leader among internal and external stakeholders by highlighting new and existing innovations, Faurecia partnerships and strategic placement of leadership in speaking opportunities.
  • Employer Brand Communications – Support talent acquisition and retention efforts by generating awareness and reinforcing positive perceptions of Faurecia as an Employer of Choice among potential employees, particularly young professionals.
  • Employee Engagement  -- Strengthen regional understanding of Faurecia’s global technology strategy internally; Improve dissemination of information more deeply into the organization; Facilitate more visibility for North American Leadership
  • Manage budget
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism or Social Sciences
  • At least 5-7 years experience in a similar role if possible in an industrial company
Skills and competencies:
  • International mind set, overseas experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
  • Articulate speech and thorough, writing literacy
  • Creativity, open mind and autonomy
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image both externally and internally
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
