Faurecia Clean Mobility is looking for a Customer Business Development Manager for the Light Vehicle Product Line located in Southfield, Michigan
The role of a Customer Business Development Manager  is outlined below:
  • Collaborating with Product Line Directors (Air Quality, Acoustic Performance, and Future Mobility) to drive and achieve the five (5) year Strategic Plan related to acquisition targets for the Light Vehicle Customer Business Units.
  • Identify opportunities within the Future Mobility space to support the five (5) year Strategic Plan activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Line Development Managers, and engage with external organizations as appropriate in the development of pre-development targets for Light Vehicle customers to support pending future legislation and market trends.
  • Work with the Division Product Line Market Analysis team to develop a deep understanding of the customer's overall powertrain strategy, new energy initiatives, electrification,lightweight strategies, and overall Noise Variation approach. 
  • Work within customer organizations to identify and connect with previously unknown contact points and leaders that can assist Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) understand the customer's direction and help them achieve zero emissions through FCM innovations.
  • Engage the Product Line Branding Team to develop and reinforce FCM's product branding strategy within the division. 
  • Utilize social media and online professional publications to promote our expertise, innovations and accomplishments.
  • Support the Regional Business Unit(s) and Customer Business Unit(s) with targeted acquisition activity to ensure achievement of the five (5) year Strategic Plan acquisition targets.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business and or sales related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Automotive industry with Sales experience
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset
  • Social Media Savvy
  • Structured Problem Solving
  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization
