The Business Development Manager within the Light Vehicle product line is responsible for all business development aspects for a specific customer(s).  These responsibilities include:
    • Help develop New Value Spaces (NVS) and Technology strategy as well as promote the existing technology portfolio.
    • Create and develop a deep network of customer key stake holders that promote and influence the adoption of new technology aligned with FCM NVS.
    • Identify opportunities within Future Mobility Space; develop Business Incubator (s), in support of five (5) Year Strategic Plan activities.
    • Engage Product Line (PL) Branding team to develop and reinforce our product branding strategy within the division.  Utilize social media and online professional publications to promote our expertise, innovations and accomplishments.
    • Work with Division Product Line (PL) Market Analysis team to develop deep understanding of the customers overall powertrain strategy, new energy initiatives, electrification and light-weight strategies and overall Noise Vibration Harshness(NVH) approach.
    • Work with Customers and leaders of organizations that can help Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) understand their direction and help them achieve “Zero Emissions” through FCM innovations.
    • Support Regional Business Unit (RBU) and Customer Business Unit (CBU) with targeted activity to ensure achievement of five (5) Year Strategic Plan aquisition targets.
 
 
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and an innovative mindset.  Energetic and positive approach in this role will be essential.  The individual should possess effective horizontal leadership skills and an ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse, matrixed environment.  The indivdiual should have prior experience within a global organization.  The individual must be fluent in English, additional language knowledge will be considered exceptional.
 
In addition, the candidate will have experience of strategy and sales development and will be familiar with the strategic planning process in a global organization.  Strong relationship management and communication skills will be essential as influencing decisions across organizations will be a key success factor.
 
Minimum Education Level:  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business related field of study.
 
Experience:
- Minimum 8 Years with progressive experience, responsibility and scope within an engineering and or sales function.
 
- Experience with OEM Automotive and or large Tier 1 Suppliers.
 
- Experience in a sales management role.
