Faurecia Interior systems is looking for a “Development Engineer" m/f in Tuscaloosa (USA).

 

An Development Engineering VIE will be support to the engineering team in a variety of internal departments, including (but not limited to) Concept engineering, Product Process Validation, Customer engineering, Research and Innovation, and Design and Development. The VIE’s scope is to complete engineering deliverables as defined by the functional manager. 

 

The missions of the role include:

1.         Support execution of engineering changes to current designs, or creation of new ones

2.         Support pre-series build activities, and product or tool development, ideally with “hands-on” work

3.         Create and maintain engineering documentation (BoM, FMEA, ECR/ECO, Work Instructions, etc.) as required

4.         Support analysis of engineering data (statistical analysis)

5.         Support logistic requirements for program (some local travel may be required)

The length of the VIE is 18 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be: 

 

▪           Master degree in Engineering.

▪           Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills

▪           Ability to work in a matrixed organization

▪           Self-Sufficient

▪           Self Starter

▪           Strong Interpersonal and Team Skills

▪           Strong Organizational Skills

▪           Good Microsoft Office program skills

▪           Strong Analytical skills, including use of Minitab

▪           Proficient level of English
