Our North American Faurecia Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Division Digital Project Manager for its Tech Center at Columbus, IN.


Our Division Digital Project Manager will support the design/development of FCM Digital Enterprise initiatives. This position will develop a Digital Network within the Division in order to maintain standards, share best practices and monitor implementation of projects to move our sites towards Industry 4.0 transformation.


The main missions of the role are to:


  • Analyze the gaps and opportunities to automate further our production sites towards Industry 4.0 solutions.

  • Help designing, launch automated systems in NAO plants including development of specifications, standards of the production means.

  • Interface between the industrial IT experts/applications (MES, TCO, MRP, etc.) and the plants to develop efficient solutions.

  • Interface with the Division Automation Experts, GIS Team and BG Network to share best practices and align deployment of new systems.

  • Autonomously develop Digital Projects with the plants

  • Develop digital project budget and track implementation timing

  • Coach the Plant Digital Champions and technical teams on the Digital applications to develop targeted projects.

  • Benchmark Digital solutions within Faurecia and at external companies

  • Participate in the development of the Strategic Plan for Digital Transformation


The ideal candidate will have/be:


  • Graduated Engineer specialized in Automation, Industrial IT or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

  • 3-5 years experience in automation in maintenance, manufacturing engineering or automation design

  • Experience in MES deployment is a plus.

  • Automation and programming experience (PLC, HMI)
  • Enterprise software, network configuration, Kepware OPC, MS SQL and Visual Basic programming knowledge is preferred
  • Good organizational skills, problem solving skills, team builder
  • Able to coach and share personal knowledge to others.
  • Capable to work in matrix organization.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated
  • Frequent travel required to visit plants and suppliers in US/Canada/Mexico. Some travel outside of North America may be required
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management
