Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) North American Division is looking for a Division Human Resources Lean Specialist (Faurecia Excellence System) . The position is based in Columbus, Indiana.



The mission of the Division HR Lean Specialist is to maximize plant performance with accountability on lean systems called internally FES (Faurecia Excellence System) compliance through strict application of the Employee Empowerment Basics and Strategic HR Projects.
The main missions of the role are:
1. At Plant level, provide Lean expertise and coaching (Employee Empowerment System) based on the 7 Employee Empowerment basics, and 11 lean manufacturing principles :
  • Contribute to the definition of the Plant Improvement Plan to achieve the budget
  • Lead construction and follow up of the FES deployment plan, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.
  • Ensure understanding at plant level of 18 FES KPIs and the link with P&L results to properly prioritize the FES plan.
  • Provide, according to the needs, FES knowledge and skills to the plant team through training, coaching, and delivery of workshops (EE Standard Workshops).
  • Contribute to the application and /respect of FES Principles and best practices for Program launches (Chapter 15 of FES questionnaire)
  • Be an active change agent within the sites, by cultivating a Lean mind-set

2. Work with the Regional Business Unit Director, Plant Managers, and HR Managers to ensure plant compliance to FES standards

  • Conduct site audits using Lean (FES) questionnaire
  • Maintain FES best practice share place site as a resource for HR Managers
  • Support Group FES audit site preparation to ensure an accurate self-assessment is submitted.

3. Animate the FES network within the plant as well as participate in the division FES network

  • Liaise with Division FES Network to ensure knowledge of Group Standards and best practices.
  • Propose and promote best practices within the Division FES network
  • Participate in Division level workshops to test and/or improve new” lean concept” or advanced tools



The ideal candidate will have/be:


Minimum education level:  Bachelor degree in Human Resources

Frequent business travel 50% of the time



  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI's within a plant using Lean principles


Skills and competencies:

  • Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills

  • Ability to train and coach within all levels of the plant

  • Continuous improvement mind set

  • Ability to master change management

  • Agile learner

  • Energy & Drive for results

  • Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken

  • Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans

  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management

Nice to have:

  • Previous plant launch and project management experience
