Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) North American Division is looking for an Education Program Manager for its Technical Center in Columbus, Indiana.


The role of the Education Program Manager is to serve as the leader for FCM NAO community based education themed impact initiatives.  The Manager owns the regional MOD education partnerships strategy for the Columbus Talent Hub and serves as a subject matter coach to other FCM NAO communities on related outreach topics.


The responsibilities include:

  • Develop, launch, and support an education themed outreach strategy aimed at MOD pipeline enrichment and STEM growth in the Columbus Talent Hub

  • Serve as a coach to Division Community Involvement Teams, HR Managers, and Plant managers on how to initiate and deepen relationships with community stakeholders related to technical education, skilled trades and STEM projects

  • Attend community meetings, school and trade fairs, and outreach events on behalf of FCM NAO to build partnerships and advocate for FCM positions and programs. Some attendance could be at evening and/or weekends.

  • Find avenues for FCM to utilize government or not of profit partnerships to benefit education themed outreach strategy

  • Create, train, and distribute information to employees, communities, and broader publics aligned with an over arching strategic plan.


    The main goals and objectives of this position include:

  • Lead the strategic positioning and development of education themed outreach strategy for the Columbus Talent Hub

  • Build and foster excellent relationships with target institutions and trade groups to benefit multiple FCM functional departments

  • Be an advocate within Faurecia while recognizing and respecting Faurecia business capability and objectives

  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans including volunteering and funding needs for outreach strategy


The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • At least two years of involvement or leadership experience working with education or trade groups to  achieve shared objectives

  • Strong project management skills with a background of leading by influence

  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • A self-starter able to navigate complicated and unstructured situations to build actionable plans

  • The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.

  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
