Our North America Seating Division is looking for a Business Systems Coordinator / Quality Engineer  to be based at its Assembly Plant located in Cleveland, Mississippi.
 
The role of a Business Systems Coordinator / Quality Engineer  is to support the continuing adherence and validation of the TS16949 Program and to support  quality manufacturing needs of the product groups. The main missions of the role are to:
 
  • Audit the plant to ensure TS16949 is followed and variances are corrected
  • Plan and manage the internal TS16949 auditing
  • Train Internal Auditors
  • Reviews all production methods for compliance to quality standards and for improvement of product and quality standards
  • Participate in Corrective Action Team (CAT) activities reporting on corrective action status, Top 5 scrap initiatives, and opportunities for  improvement
  • Plans for and implements the SPC system.  Updates and maintains all SPC charts.  Maintains summaries of SPC data.  Recommends changes to operations based on SPC data
  • Promotes the "proactive team concept" to quality by maintaining good levels of communications with Engineering, Production, and other departments
  • Prepare documentation, checking equipment planning, designing for floor inspections
  • Ensure all inspections documentation's, tools are in place.  Perform inspections if necessary
  • Prepare inspection and test instructions
  • Set up calibration system measurement system analysis
  • Prepare PFMEA and control plans and entire APQP package (prepares, Maintains and updates on a regular basis)
  • Perform training to operator for in process, final inspection functions, and SPC
  • Prepare PPAP documentation for the customer. Review PPAP file received from supplier
  • Perform all responsibilities with QSE and TS16949 system requirements
The ideal candidate will have/be:
 
  • Preferred Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
  • TS16949 Lead Auditor Certification
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of AQP functions, Cost of Quality 
  • In-depth knowledge of Metrology
  • Above average communication skills., leadership skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable computer skills and good organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of blue print reading and GD&T
  • Minimum of two (2) years automotive experience 
  • Ability to travel and obtain a passport
