Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group is looking for a FES&P (Faurecia Excellence System & Productivity) Intern for its BG Headquarter in Paris.

The main mission of the role is to support the Manufacturing Excellence BG organization:

·         with the creation and roll-out of BG standards, guidelines and templates

·         with the collection and sharing of BG best practices and benchmarks

·         with the creation of online E training modules

·         with the structure, animation and maintenance of the BG FAUR’us platform

·         with the set-up of BG Workshop, Convention, Communication events…

·         with an additional task as assigned by the company

This mission will provide the candidate with an outstanding exposure to a Best in Class Automotive Production System and to a global network organization which supports and drives Operational and Financial improvements, in a Global Automotive Supplier.

§  will liaise with FES&P expert, FES&P network and Plant Management Teams

§  will visit manufacturing sites and be exposed to manufacturing processes

§  will learn the Faurecia Excellence System and participate to Workshops

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (at least last year of Engineering school)
  • Fluent in English and French, a 3rd language is a plus
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of autonomy, organization and initiative
  • Available for some international traveling
  • Internationally minded
  • Computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Programming…)
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing production I n France and abroad (e.g. internship or equivalent) is a plus
