Faurecia North America is looking for a Human Resource Information Systems Intern for its' Shared Services division to be located at our Auburn Hills, MI facility.
This position will assist the Reporting and Controlling, HRIS, and Payroll Teams in providing analysis and technical support to our users, maintaining system integrity and functionality, and providing overall business process enhancements with our HR/Payroll systems. The HR intern will provide support, training and user assistance on a HRIS system that will be implemented in the fall of 2018. Systems include ADP GlobalView, SuccessFactors and various other internal/external HR/Payroll web based systems. Upon completion of the new system roll out, the intern will then rotate to provide support and gain experience with various other HR functions including Compensation and Benefits.
Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the complete payroll & HRIS processes and the related system tools utilized in the process
  • Provide HRIS and Reporting support to system users
  • Assist with data entry, testing, and implementation of systems
  • Process special report requests
  • Run system reports and audits
  • Assist with the coordination of HRIS system trainings and provide support to the trainers 
  • Create work instructions
  • Utilize the GlobalView payroll Production environment and the Employee Central module for the PASS system
  • Provide support and assistance to other HR functions as needed
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related filed
  • Previous HRIS System experience and/or HR & Payroll formal education preferred
  • Basic understanding of general Human Resource and Payroll processes
  • Strong technical knowledge of general computer operations and applications including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Internet Explorer
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding highly sensitive information
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to manage their own individual projects
