 Our North American Faurecia Automotive Seating division is looking for an Inventory Analyst for its Production Facility in Madison, MS.
The Inventory control analyst position is responsible for performing daily and other routine cycle counts to assist in managing inventory levels, assessing current practices and offering suggestions for improvement, researching shortages and discrepancies, and other duties and projects as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Must have a working knowledge of SAP.
  • Work with Inventory control GAP leader and Inventory control specialist to correct problems
  • Conduct problem solving functions to improve processes
  • Conduct meetings to brainstorm on solving issues.
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
  • Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
  • Research inventory discrepancies
  • Work with Warehouse Manager and Cell Managers to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
  • Open cartons, bundles, pallets, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
  • Evaluate current processes and offer suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Process discrepancies in SAP
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • College or related work experience
  • At last one (1) year related work experience and/or training
  • Ability to resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Must be able to work and maintain stability in high heat, fast paced work environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all co-workers to ensure a good and open work environment to achieve total customer satisfaction
  • Must be reliable and maintain open communication with management to achieve all goals and production requirements set by Confluence
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Must be self-directed with the ability to work independently and in a group environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be trained to operate multiple types of forklifts and power vehicles as needed
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally
