Our Daimler/BMW Customer Business Unit located in Hagenbach (Germany) is looking for a Sales Engineer VIE.

As part of the Sales team within the CBU Daimler/BMW, the role of the VIE is to develop the relationship with the direct and indirect contacts at the customer in a sales network and support claim negotiations. He/she coordinates the implementation of technical and commercial offers as key supporter in price negotiations.
The main missions are:
  • to ensure that the evolution of permanent parts pricing is in line with the division budget and Faurecia rules before submitting any offers to the customer
  • to validate the profitability of prices from purchase with costing in alignment of controlling department and the project budget
  • to ensure proper documentation of all prices negotiations and customer communications 
  • to ensure with Finance that prices are correct in the system and invoices are correct
  • to update on the mono price list and the information flow that needs to be generated in order to invoice correct prices
  • to ensure in association with all department (Development, Plant, Costing, Controlling, Logistic, Productivity Experts, Finance etc.) commercial viability and profitability of the programs

 

The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master's degree in business administration or business engineering, with first experience within the automotive sales business
  • Good German and English communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard office automation software (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills
  • Analytic and statistical skills
  • Passion for automotive business
