Our Seating Division is looking for a Management Development Manager, Operations for our Technical Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
 

The role of a Management Development Manager is to coach, empower and support managers & HR network in Management Development including both Resources Management and Talent Development.

 The main missions of the role are to:

Main Activities in Resources Management
 
       Strategic Plan & Organization
  • Understand and appropriate business dynamics of their perimeter
  • Prepare HR strategic plan
  • Ensure effective communication of organizational principles defined at Group level
  • Be partner of  progress plans
 
      Involvement with Talent Acquisition & Program Initiatives
  • Help attract/present entry-level profiles and support manager in decision making process
  • Upgrade recruitment skills of HR and managers
  • Support recent graduate programs
  • Create and launch specific attraction programs for functions and key positions
  • Ensure successful on-boarding process
 
        Reservoir Management
  • Animate people review processes, ensure quality of the results and follow-up the action plans
  • Ensure succession plans, bring inputs and provide names coming from other organizations
  • Secure key people
  • Ensure high potential presence in succession plan
  • Understand headcount flows to properly manage reinforcement plans
 
        Employee Engagement
  • Organize employees feedback and analyze the results
  • Help managers to increase employees engagement , set up action plans
 
 
     Main Activities in Talent Development
 
        Performance Management
  • Ensure appropriation and good quality of STAR results by managers
  • Ensure appropriation of Performance ranking
  • Coach managers to act as Role Model
  • Train/push managers to provide fair, courageous and regular feedback
 
       Potential Identification Validation & Management
  • Animate review processes  ensure quality of the results and follow-up the action plans
  • Guide, challenge and support for potential identification as early as possible
  • Organize validation of Potentials (calibration) and promote external assessment when necessary
 
           Individual Development
  • Review processes ,ensure quality of the results and follow-up the action plans
  • Ensure succession
  • Support Individual Development Plan by building, advise coaching, mentoring and FU offer when necessary
  • Help to build anticipated career path
  • Ensure follow-up of Potentials development
  • Support/identify needed development actions for M&Ps in their perimeter

 

         Career Management

  • Support promotion identified by managers.
  • Boost career management through:
  • Career interviews
  • Internal mobility processes
  • Diversified career paths
  • Support Internal staffing through talents pooling per Region

 

         Training

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate training programs, methods, tools and outcomes to ensure training  effectiveness.
  • Serve as liaison with Faurecia University.
  •  

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

    • Human Resources Management Certificate or equivalent related post-secondary education
    • 10 years' experience in Human Resources in both tactical and support roles, in international environment.
    • Experience in People/Organizational Development
    • Business acumen & Management Team experience
    • People agility and international working experience
    • Change, Project and Process Management
    • Motivating and developing others
    • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
