Our Interiors division is looking for a Master Scheduler for its manufacturing facility in Saline, MI
 
The role of the Master Scheduler within a plant is to fulfill the customer requirements by leveling the activities of the production floor. The main missions of the role are to:
  • Analyze, understand and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities.
  • Analyze customer missed deliveries Per Million (MPM) in order to propose improvement action plans: define and optimize data gathering and exchange and ensure data integrity in systems.
  • Follow up the achievement of the customer delivery program by managing alerts and following up with the transportation and the delivery of pieces.
  • Prepare the Sales & Operations Planning (PIC) on a monthly basis in order to obtain proper volume levels and optimize resources (men, machines, materials and supplier readiness and capacity).
  • Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP) to ensure a level production plan and make production line provisions for variations of customers demand.
  • Manage the pool and safety stocks levels.
  • Check that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP.
  • Follow requirements established with seven Delivery Basics and seven Inventory Basics.
  • Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.
  • Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
  • Follow requirements established in Saline Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
 
The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience in production in an industrial environment
  • Minimum bi-lingual (proficient level of English required)
  • International mind set
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
