Our North Europe Region is looking for a Plant Development Leader for its FIS  at Slovakia in Hlohovec. 

 

<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />The Plant Development Leader is responsible for technical product definition and process feasibility in serial production, in line with plant planning, quality and costs targets. He applies Group standards following the Faurecia Excellence System (FES) and uses Faurecia's Program Management System (PMS) to guide the concept and design detail of a product, tool and/or equipment. 

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Coordinate technical management of the product relying on process/tool engineers and experts.
  • Ensure that the technical convergence plan meets product quality and costs targets; Interface with the customer's engineering team.
  • Maintain appropriate product and process definitions.
  • Manage technical aspects of a program: Prepare and update other program related technical documentation;
  • Review periodically all FMEAs of serial projects.
  • Apply Faurecia industrial policies and guidelines (Production System Efficiency, Supply chain, Ergonomy,…).
  • Liaise with industrial engineer so that product and process characteristics are under control.
  • Update systems (Bill of Materials).
  • Manage application dates of product modifications according to engineering change procedures.
  • Manage intervention notice flow in the plant.
  • Keep up special relationships with program teams. Define and assume the logistics conditions necessary for the launch of new programs.
  • Ensure that changes  are taken into account in production scheduling and  material planning.
  • Ensure that changes are taken into account within physical flows

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

 

  • Min. Bachelors degree in a field of Engineering
  • Min. 3 years of experience within  business within molding technologies
  • Goal oriented and proactive
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Molding technology knowledge
  • English language is a must
  • Computer knowledge and skills
  • CATIA knowledge is advantage
