Our Mechanisms Division is looking for a Plant FES (Faurecia Excellence System) and productivity engineer for its Site in Caligny, Lower Normandy (France).

Caligny site, recently nominated « Industry of the Future”, is the avant-garde site of the Group Faurecia. Represented by 1,200 employees, it is the production plant, the global Research and Development Center, and the headquarters of the Mechanisms Division.



The mission FES&P Plant engineer is to contribute to plant performance and profitability with direct labour focus and the FES operating principles application.

The role can be summarized in three parts :

  1. At Plant level, provide FES expertise (HSE, Quality, EE, PC&L and Production system) based on 11 lean manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets.
  2. Contribute to the Plant MOD cost budget construction & achievement, through efficient “MOD cost management” & “MOD cost improvement plan”.
  3. Support FES network animation in the plant.

The ideal candidate will have/be:


Minimum education level: Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering, or Engineering School



  • of operational experience
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience within a production environment
  • Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI's within a plant using FES principles
  • Previous plant launch experience and previous management experience is a plus

Skills and competencies:

  • Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills
  • Ability to train and coach within the plant
  • Continuous improvement mind set
  • Ability to master change
  • Understand basic P&L and operational levers
  • Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken
  • Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans
