Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group – Europe Division is looking for a VIE Process Development Engineer - Hotforging m/f for its site in Stadthagen, Germany.

The main missions of the role are:

  •  Supports the hot forging process development

  • Development of the simulation methodology, especially inductor simulation, heat assisted forming simulation
  • Leading the related experimental studies in hot forging to verify the simulation results
  • Take part in the equipment design reviews, equipment set-up and adjustment to realize serial implementation of the process
  • Continuous improvement of forging simulation methods, create interface between forming and crash analysis to optimise the product behaviour
  • Create standard document related to sheet metal forging process
  •  

The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master degree in Engineering

  • Experiences in inductor simulation and as well in heat transfer simulation

  • Experience in simulation tools

  • Knowledge in metallic material, material properties and plasticity

  • Ability to work in team, flexible, able to work with different cultures

  • Able to communicate in English
