Our Faurecia Clean Mobility Business Group – Asia Pacific Division is looking for a VIE Product Line Controller (M/F) for its Asia Pacific Division based in Shanghai, China.

Role and Responsibility:


Integrated within Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) Asia Pacific Division management team, the Product Line Controller is responsible of all financial aspects for profitability analysis by product line for FCM Asia Pacific. S/He will support analysis by Customer Business Unit (CBU) and by program. S/he ensures the data reliability in line with processes and program financial golden rules.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Supporting financial analysis per product line at division level:

    • Supporting monthly closing and budget activities per customer and program in compliance with Division and Group instructions and deadlines;

    • Analyzing, challenging and summarizing actual results per product line, CBU, country and for the whole division;

    • Continuously driving data quality improvement (actual, budget and forecast), and monitoring reporting quality indicators on a monthly basis.


  • Acting as business partner to Asia Pacific Product Line Director:

    • Drafting action plans in order to achieve profitability/cash target;

    • Challenging Design & Development (D&D) costs charged by Engineering Division;

    • Supporting product line on all financial issues in connection with reporting activities or management requests;

    • Challenging upfront level in term of cost as well as payment methods;

    • Providing financial perspectives on the new business models.


  • Supporting program dashboard analysis at Division level:

    • Consolidating all financial and non-financial key indicators for programs in development in order to provide a documented and accurate financial vision to CBU’s and local management.



The Product Line Controller will be based in FCM Asia Pacific Headquarter on Minbei Site. FCM Shanghai Minbei site is located one hour from Shanghai City Center; it regroups FCM Asia Pacific and China Business headquarters, FCM Shanghai Technology Center (D&D Center, Testing, Prototype Shop and Asia Standard Equipment Center). The site hosts more than 600 Faurecians including nationals from more than 10 different countries.

The VIE represents a cultural immersion into local culture. One of the main objectives of the VIE program is to enhance our shared culture “Being Faurecia” on the host site while driving global cultural mindset within in Faurecia’s future Managers and Professionals. Her/His Career Management will be placed under direct supersession of Faurecia Group Talent Acquisition Team based in Faurecia headquarter (Nanterre, France).

 The length of this VIE assignment is 12 months.

The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world.  Mandatory requirements:   

  • VIE program eligibility

  • Fluent in English

  • Master's Degree (or equivalent level)

  • 2 years of proven professional experience (post Bachelor degree)

  • Adherence to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management 

The ideal candidate will have/be:   

  • Master’s degree in Corporate Finance
  • Technical skill set in international accounting standards
  • Experience working within an industrial operation financial environment
  • Passion for Asian cultures and languages such as Mandarin, Korean, Thai, or Japanese
  • Global business mindset with proven cross-cultural communication and adaptation skills
  • Ability to perform in team and under timing pressure
  • Potential leadership competencies with drive to grow and develop within Faurecia after the VIE
