Our Emission Control Division is looking for a Product Line Quality Leader (W/M) for its R&D center at Bavans Essential responsibilities and duties
Guarantee quality target achievements and prevent risks by using quality tools in development of product /process innovation and product/process standards. Ensure continuous improvement based on Lessons Learned.
The main missions of the role are:
  • Ensure application of the Program Management System for Product & Process Innovation and Standardization and participate in program gate reviews.
For Innovation/generics Projects:
  • Support development of Functional Analysis, Key Product & Process Characteristics, FMEA, Design and Manufacturing Validation Plan. 
  • Ensure all product safety, regulation & functional performances are assessed
  • Contribute to the definition and approval of product specification
  • Develop control plan for prototype and production, approve prototype characteristics
  • Support development and validate new inspection methods
  • Ensure product is proven out by conducting variability studies & analysis of process capability
  • Contribute to the product/process risk assessment during the acquisition phase
  • Contribute to creation and validation of product/process standards, incorporating Lessons Learned and best practice. Drive continuous improvement
  • Create Prototype and Production Control Plan, aligned with FMEA and Key Characteristics
  • Support hand-over and roll-out of product/process innovation and standards
  • Interface to Operation Quality to retrieve data of product and process performance for standards improvement
  • Apply problem solving methods (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa) to ensure robustness of problem resolution


The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level:  Master degree in Engineering
Experience :
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in the Automotive Industry
Skills and competencies
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced quality methods
  • Above average communication skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills
  • International mindset and experience
  • French and English required
