Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Prototype Master Scheduler for its Prototype Operations in Columbus, Indiana.
 
The role of the Master Scheduler within the prototype plant is to fulfill the customer requirements by leveling the activities of the production floor. The main missions of the role are to:
  • Manage SAP-FCS system and tools to ensure all orders from sales order entry through part shipment to ensure orders are executed according to customer dates.
  • Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP) to ensure a level production plan and make production line provisions for variations of customers demand.
  • Analyze, understand and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities.
    • Maintain standard hours for components/systems taking into consideration resource and required production time constraints.
    • Review forecast and ensure that production schedules are defined as far in advance as possible.
    • Provide feedback to production on resources required to meet required customer dates.
  • Direct daily activities of Material Planners to ensure that materials are available when required to support production activities.
  • Ensure staffing, induction, training and development of N-1’s.
  • Ensure that all required performance related documentation is completed for N-1’s
  • Review customer on time to MRD data in order to propose improvement action plans: define and optimize data gathering and exchange and ensure data integrity in systems.
  • Develop/Maintain KPI’s for delivery performance, efficiency,  and ensure that they are used to continually identify and address constraints in the system.
  • Prepare the Sales & Operations Planning (PIC) on a monthly basis in order to obtain proper volume levels and optimize resources (men, machines, materials and supplier readiness and capacity).
  • Manage inventory to appropriate levels.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics or Applied Mathematics
  • Experience in production scheduling in an industrial environment
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
