Our Europe Division  is looking for a Purchasing Manager Iran (M/F) in expatriation.
The role of the purchasing manager Iran is to deploy the purchasing strategy defined at Group and Business Group (BG) levels, direct the purchasing organization of the division and take responsibility for the global purchasing performance of the region Iran. The main missions of the role are to:
  • Create and manage the supplier panel: define and implement a supplier plan consistent with BG orientations. Anticipate strategy per commodity needs of new projects and reach a maximum of localization in Iran
  • Lead the management of local program purchasing: ensure the development of programs in order to achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) objectives of a program. Generalize the program purchasing control based on cost follow-up tools and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools
  • Support the CBU’s and costing teams with the right cost structure and local assumption for all BOP parts inside the acquisitions
  • Manage mandated and import suppliers were necessary in cooperation with the CBU and the ESD purchasing team
  • Ensure supplier performance in regards to cost: improve purchasing productivity (cost reduction, negotiation, value analysis, raw material evolution management);
  • Ensure supplier performance in regards to quality and delivery: improve the quality delivered by local suppliers, manage dedicated supplier quality organization (ASQ + SQ&D)
  • supplier development: will have to identify suppliers able to develop themselves and organize an active support from Fapsco to these suppliers in order to reach the level expected to become Fapsco / Faurecia suppliers
  • Lead purchasing organization management: define the objectives of the purchasing team inside the budget process, follow-up and help the team to achieve them
  • Ensure the active use of purchasing tools and guarantee the deployment of best practices.
  • Plan the needed Headcount to achieve in the frame of budget restrictions the results requested
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Master’s degree in engineering with a specialization in international purchasing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same level of position in an industrial environment
  • Results oriented  with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization
  • International mind set, overseas experience a plus
  • Multi lingual, English a must, French an Persian a plus
