Owned by the large French automotive supplier Faurecia, Amminex Emissions Technology is a Danish based clean tech company with a new and unique technology and solution for automotive emissions control. The technology, the Ammonia Storage and Delivery System (ASDS) dramatically reduce the amount of NOx released by diesel cars and trucks with SCR catalysts, which is a focus area for the automotive industry today. The heart of the technology is based on the patented material AdAmmine, which can store Ammonia safely at very high density and release it again in gaseous form.

Amminex is growing fast, we are now looking for a Retrofit Commercial Manager UK

The job is based at the corporate headquarters in Søborg, Denmark – close to Copenhagen city.

Business development working with unique technology


As the Retrofit Commercial Manager UK, your main role will be to develop Amminex’s retrofit business by selling the company’s unique and patented ASDS technology to a wide range of customers, primarily in the major cities of Europe. The customers and stakeholders span from fleet owners/operators and public transportation providers, to municipalities and national government institutions. Thus, it is essential that one understands the basic mechanisms of public tenders, and the complexity of multiple stakeholders in the decision chain.


The main missions of the role are to:

  • Interfaces with the existing and new customers
  • Develop the relationship with his direct counterparts at the customer and with the assigned contacts by the sales network
  • Ensure proper documentation of all prices and written communication to customer
  • Check coherence of all offers and validates offers regarding technical changes and mandated components
  • Ensure that a commercial agreement is reached with the customer about changes before change introduction or launch within Amminex
  • Support claims negotiation at the appropriate level at the customer (missing production, raw material)

·   Reporting to the Product Line Manager, you will be a key person in the company’s retrofit efforts and thus have excellent opportunities to influence your daily work. Because of the geographic scope of Amminex’s customers, extensive travelling is to be expected.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master's degree in engineering or business with a specialisation in sales
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales and Automotive industry
  • Leadership skills
  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Understanding of the public transportation sector and its stakeholders
  • Having a network in the field of Commercial Vehicles and concrete knowledge of diesel engines and/or exhaust systems.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
  • International mind set
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
