Faurecia Clean Mobility North America is looking for a candidate who will commit to long term growth and development with Faurecia. This program’s content is built off of the academic knowledge received while completing their Bachelor’s degree as well as the individual needs, capabilities and objectives. The program is a two year program consisting of three 8 month rotations that could be located in Southfield, Michigan or Columbus, Indiana. Upon completion of the program, the Trainee will take on a demanding and challenging role in their core field.

  • Attend training sessions and workshops


The main objectives of the three rotations for the Sales/Marketing Rotational Leadership Development Program are defined below.    


Rotation I – Acquisition (Operations Introduction)

Purpose of this rotation: To understand the fundamental interaction between the sales department, program management/platform and engineering  during the acquisition stage, in addition to basic overview of production, the Faurecia Excellence System.

  • Assist in the identification of appropriate technologies specific to the customer application.

  • Determine organization support for Faurecia approval process of an acquisition.

  • Influence and support the SOR development process at the customer level.

  • Conduct presentation of Faurecia design and process during customer technical review.

  • Complete the Quote process by submitting customer documentation with targets met.

  • Learn the operation (technologies, products, etc.) from the production floor for 1 week

  • Act for 1 week in Production Supervisor role

  • Attend FES, OSS, EE Fundamentals training, in addition to other relevant training

  • Present learnings prior to proceeding to the next rotation.

Rotation  II –  Program Development

Purpose of this rotation: Develop a comprehensive program support plan to meet customer program timing and milestones in support of a successful program launch.

  • Support the creation of a program specific timeline that meets customer objectives.

  • Assist with the customer approved design validation plan and report.

  • Assist with the customer acceptance of Faurecia design.

  • Support the coordination of customer and Faurecia driven design changes.

  • Attend any relevant training in Program Development at this time.

  • Present learnings prior to proceeding to the next rotation

Rotation  III – Account Management

Purpose of this rotation: Participate in simultaneous activity with program development that supports the launch of a new program,  focusing on commercial aspects of program development.  Experience Account Management activity as part of a global program Team.

  • Support the submission and approval of the annual budget.

  • Support submission and approval of a 5 year strategic plan.

  • Support customer documentation and system orientation by completing and understanding customer forms.

  • Support the coordination of packaging and logistics requirements.

  • Improve established technical factor for cost recovery on warranty exposure with the customer.

  • Attend any relevant training in Account Management at this time.

  • Present final learnings.

Candidate profile 


The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Preferred MBA or minor in Business
  • Graduated from a University within 12 months of first rotation
  • Practical work experience through internships throughout academic career
  • Demonstrate experience with business practices through organizations, internships or academia
  • Demonstrated interest in automotive industry
  • Commitment to relocating at least once between rotations
  • Bi-lingual preferred in German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, or Spanish
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
