Our Decoration Division is looking for a VIE Sales and Acquisition Support in Kennelbach (Austria).

As a support to the Sales Director, the Acquisition Manager and the Sales Engineers, he/she participates in the coordination of internal/external sales activities, acquisition process.

Main responsibilities for the role:

        Support the Sales Director and the Acquisition Manager

  • check customer B2B databases regularly, inform Manager if new RFQs have arrived, obtain/download RFQ data

  • get from the customer the preliminary specifications, distribute within Faurecia

  • help to prepare project kick-off reviews, follow up on work-in-progress for new acquisitions

  • help to prepare quotes, price break downs according to the customer requirements

  • organize necessary meetings with the customer to present the offer (technically, economically)

  • record negotiation steps/progress with customers

  • document after the decision from the customer the "Debriefing" and "Lessons learned" for the sales items

  • maintain, review, follow up cash ticker, overdue invoices

  • participate on FAD product planning reviews, update product plans if required


    Support the Sales Engineers

  • review incoming purchase orders with agreed prices, discuss and implement  corrective actions with Faurecia Sales Manager and/or OEM contact

  • update and maintain component price pedigrees

  • support the team in setting up/preparing team reviews, i.e. sales data collection, organise venues, invite relevant team members, etc.

  • collect data for invoices, i.e. purchase orders, delivery notes, payment terms, invoicing addresses


    Documentation with Faurecia

  • ensure the update and the record of all contractual documentation, i.e. Non-Disclosure Agreements, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Commercial Pedigrees, Specifications, Quotes, Volume Plans, Timing Plans, and/or other relevant documentation

  • ensure distribution within Faurecia organisation when updates occur

  • be the primary interface to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager, the Sales Engineers

    The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master's degree (Economics, Engineering, or others) 
  • Some previous experience in sales and/or in program management beneficial
  • Good technical understanding
  • Good business understanding
  • Team player
  • Ability to interface with several different functions internally and at the customer from
  • Purchasing, Accounting, Engineering, Logistics, other international mindset
  • Good command of English language, basic German Language required, additional language beneficial
  • Willingness to succeed in a very challenging and competitive environment (automotive supply industry)
