Essential responsibilities and duties

_ The role of an Operations Quality Manager is to be responsible of the implementation into the plants of the right Quality methods to be able to deliver products meeting requirements based on qualified processes. These methods are based on FES & standard processes & continuous improvement principles 

The main missions of the role are:

  • Audit adequate Quality tools are implemented, as 7 Quality basics in production, QRCI. PQA, control plan, PSR and FES Quality chapters to meet targets.
  • Ensure that operations report the accurate Quality results to all relevant parties
  • Animate the convergence plans (in line with plant global objectives results: ppm , claims , scraps,..). (the plant manager being responsible for the Quality convergence plan)
  • Establish, coach and develop, in line with OHQ, the Quality organization in the plants and ensure appropriate skills target achieved and right staffing need is identified. 
  • Responsible for identifying Quality inefficiencies between plants and having them fixed with the accurate Quality procedures (product/process changes, supplier changes, transfer, VA/VE)
  • Guarantee and respect the Quality system rules
  • Monitor, collect and ensure the deployment of all product/process improvement actions coming from the Convergence Plan and transversalize them for all TQW and SUC when applicable.
  • Stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non conformance (customer expectations or safety and regulations issues…)
  • Animate warranty network to comply with customer expectations and cost improvement results
Contribute to feed standardization committee with all LLS and improvement need to adress to the experts
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum education level: Master Degree Engineering or Equivalent position

Experience :

  • Manufacturing or Quality in Operations_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
  • Assembly lines or complex product functions integration_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
  • Custome relation experience_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
