Background

 

Phishing attacks, complex social engineering schemes and other fraud attempts are increasingly present in our life as IT users. Professional corporate users benefit from professional security protection but are at the same time targeted by hackers and malware as any weakness in their behavior could have a major impact on such malicious actions.

 

New technologies, evolution to the cloud, mobility, along with the evolution of current threats increase our need to continuously educate and train our employees on the risks they face and how to adopt the safest behavior while dealing with IT.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

The Security Awareness & Education Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a Global Security Awareness & Education program for IT users in consistency with our company strategy, commitments and goals, based on directions and arbitrations provided by Security Governance and by the Group CISO.

 

In this context, the Security Awareness & Education Manager will be mainly responsible for the following activities:

 

  • identify the risks per user population group (all users, top Management, Finance, R&D, etc…)

  • liaise with the incident response team to understand which behaviors shall evolve in order to avoid reoccurrence of such incidents

  • design (using all necessary communication channels, such as Intranet, Enterprise Social Network, emails, banners, etc.), validate and deploy a training plan to address each threat, increasing users’ awareness on risks and training users regarding the safe behavior in each situation

  • measure the efficiency of the plan

  • plan the necessary adjustments of the program accordingly to increase its efficiency.

     

Each training program must include the training topics, target population, training materials, stakeholders and the KPIs necessary to track the efficiency and the progress of the program.

 

This function is transversal to the Group and responsible for group-wide and targeted innovative training on a local and global scale.

 

The Security Awareness & Education Manager will integrate the Security Governance department and will work closely with the overall IT and Security organizations as well as with the Business and Risk Management stakeholders in the identification of risks and in the definition of appropriate mitigation/training plans and targeted results.

 

He/She should as well, if/when/as required, create and coordinate formal and informal networks of regional/domain coordinators to assist in the deployment of the trainings and influence users’ behavior.

 

He/She will manage the Awareness & Education team, budget and all the relevant external partners.

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing or similar function
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years Marketing/Communication experience in an international company

  • Superior writing, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Able to interact with all levels of the organization and to deal with cultural differences

Languages
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications
  • French and/or German is a plus
