Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) North American Division is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner.  The position is located in Columbus, Indiana.
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide support in all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment and employment, record maintenance, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, training, database administration, and special projects.
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
  • Provide HR guidance and council. Manage employee relations, performance management, coaching and key HR processes.
  • Assist the Human Resources Director the management of HR topics in line with business objectives. Work with cross-functional teams and other HR team members to ensure the effective delivery of HR support/services to the business. 
  • Coordinate and assist management in all talent acquisition activities including but not limited to talent staffing and talent pipeline development, high school and university relations, and community partnerships.
  • Assist and lead for assigned population the People and Salary Review process and ensure appropriate linkages with broader functional and business reviews.
  • Work with management team to drive talent development (mentoring, leadership, training and development programs etc.).
  • Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee handbooks, and/or meetings.
  • Provide sound advice and counsel to management in all employee relations matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement activities.
  • Manage and maintain required databases, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Conducts new orientation
  • Support benefit administration
  • Create and maintain training matrices and associate training records
  • Manage immigration process
  • Counsels management on Federal and State Employment law. Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting both hourly and salaried populations
  • Intermediate knowledge of employment laws
  • Intermediate labor relations, grievance management, and negotiation experience
