Our Interiors Division is looking for a Sr. Launch Manager for its Auburn Hills, MI Technical Center.
A Launch Manager is the Programs NAO region Representative for all new model launches (and major refresh actions).
Responsible to work with regional management teams to ensure on time quality event for SOP of new launches – meeting cost budgets.
The main missions of the role are to:
  • Plant launch readiness training and PLTL coaching
  • Conduct and report on monthly launch readiness reviews
  • Oversee critical programs launch readiness reviews (at plant or vendor)
  • Monthly issue of MPT schedules for region
  • Monthly issue of R&R results w/required actions
  • Escalation when support needed for convergence actions
  • Validate KPI reporting and convergence actions
  • Monthly validation of PLR reporting and convergence actions
  • Validate on time tool and equipment delivery schedules in place
  • Accountability for launch budgets -
  • Validate regional capital equipment capacity available to support launch assumptions
  • Validate launch war room in place with required metrics
  • Participate in PMS reviews as required
  • Validate Launch Book data accurate and on time
  • Validate team hiring ramp curve realistic/capable for region
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
  • Support the leadership and commitment from top management according to the NAO environmental policy and ISO 14001:2015.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in production area
  • Senior operational leadership position
  • Ability to manage cross functional plant/program team
  • Previous new model launch experience
  • Familiar with Program finance issues (costing, P&L, investments)
  • English required
  • Significant travel required > 50%
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree – engineering

  • Strong automotive interiors products background
