Our [Division] is looking for a Supplier Launch Manager for its [Site Type] at [Location].
 
The „Supplier Launch Manager“ is responsible  for managing of different Supplier-launches (mandated and free Suppliers). Her/his role is to ensure that the objectives of Purchasing defined at Business Group or Division Group levels are achieved.
The main missions of the rules are:
    • Push program review activities out of PMS phase 2-4 up to 6 months after SOP
    • Manage and measure the program's & plant’s performance and results: including but not limited to ECR, APQP, PPAP, purchasing knowledge exchange, logistic aspects, supplier QCD , controlling, supplier communication on site to plant specific functions and optimisation program management
    • Identify deficiencies, develop and implement action plans to ensure a smooth Supplier serial launch.
    • Lead through supplier reviews to control the status and progress of Design tools and the status   of parts to ensure the quality, quantity and status of industrialization during start up phase.
    • Coordinate all essential functions at transition from program to serail phase in combination with Supplier Quality.
    • In case of mandated suppliers, Cutomer contact for communication, coordination and escalation
    • Transfer of the Know-how between the programs
The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master's degree, ideally in engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 years of project experience (ideally within Faurecia)
  • Experiance in an industrial environment and / or product experience a plus
  • Experiance in successfully managing of one or several programs
  • Good knowledge of PMS Systems (i.e. standards, tools, methods, etc…) especially in Purchasing
  • Result orientation
  • Strong communication, negotitation and conflict management skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed Organization
  • Strategic, analytic and problem solving capabilities
  • Minimum bi-lingual. (English required))
