Our Frames Division is looking for a Supplier Quality Development Engineer for its site based in São João da Madeira (Portugal)


The Supplier Quality Development Engineer is in charge of developing supplier QCD performance for a defined list of suppliers. He/she supports the series buyers to organize and follow-up the quality systems and performance of critical suppliers.

The main missions of the role are:


  • Promote the deployment of FES tools at Suppliers
  • Ensure/organize and coordinate the related Supplier Development actions, based on inputs from assessments, supplier nomination committee, Program or Series escalation    
  • Carry out improvement/convergence plan with Red list Suppliers (as defined from red list or requested by commodity)
  • Improve the QCD performance for the list of dedicated suppliers through Supplier Development activities
  • Fully support the Budget together with the Commodity while performing Octoplus, VA/VE and Lean Manufacturing workshop at suppliers
  • Perform assessment according to FAURECIA standards and supports the Commodity buyer to obtain efficient action plan.
  • Train the suppliers to FAURECIA tools:  QSE/ 7 Basics, PSE and others
  • Give recommendations for supplier selection in programs and series

The ideal candidate will have/be:


Minimum Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Engineering



    • Minimum 5 years experience in industry in Lean manufacturing
