Our GIS service is looking for a Telecom Specialist to be based in Sao Joa de Madeira, PORTUGAL.
The role of a Telecom Specialist is to manage the whole telecom strategy of a group and the mission wich result from. He directly reports to the Team Leader CC Telephony. The main mission of the role are :
  • to establish, to implement and regularly re-evaluate a worlwide telecom strategy
  • to define and to deploy of global telecom standards (incl. HW for Smartphones, PBX, IPT, …)<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  • the management of the relationship with telecom service providers (with involvement of NPP) – technically as well as commercially
  • continuous monitoring of the telecom market (technology, costs, legal changes) to identify potential for optimization and/or risks
  • to support sites in managing telecom services / Provide L3 Support (incl. training and support documentation w/t best practice usage, invoice monitoring, ...)
The ideal candidate will have/be: 
Minimum education level : Degree in Communications Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Experience :


    • Minimum 3 yeays in the telecom or a related field
