Our R&D Division is looking for a Vehicule Architect for its R&D Center at Etampes (91). 

 

The main mission of the vehicule Architect will be:

  • Perform overall vehicle layout to ensure compatibility between  designs, system function, and attribute performance.
  • Be fully fledged in utilizing CAD (CATIA/NX) and engineering analysis.
  • Conduct vehicle-level target setting for occupant package (Roominess, ingress/egress, visibility, postural comfort, cabin thermal performance…)
  • Conduct vehicle-level target setting for mechanical package for all powertrain types (ICEV, HEV, PHEV, BEV, FCEV, FCV…)
  • Use competitive benchmarking, customer satisfaction data mining, modeling, and futuring.
  • Communicate targets by developing and cascading CAD zones and planes.
  • Identify issues and consider trade-off implications in proposed alternative solutions.
  • Perform Design Verification (DV) testing to support Engineering Sign-Off and provide input on development of globally consistent requirements, tools, and methods.
 
 
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
  • 8+ years of experience authoring CAD (CATIA and/or NX) and utilizing visualization tools in an automotive or related field 
  • Experience preparing project status updates and communicating updates to senior management in an automotive or related field
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve engineering issues
  • Experience performing early concept feasibility reviews, alternative studies, benchmarking, and target setting for product development
  • Experience monitoring product launches, product assembly, and order of assembly in a manufacturing and assembly plant within an automotive or related field
  • Experience performing testing, design verification and sign-off for engineering requirements
  • English: fluent
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
