Our Division is looking for a Warehouse Manager  for its Plant at Pulversheim.
The mission of the Warehouse Manager is managing logistics activities of a plant, to accountable for inventory accuracy and standard processes compliance.
He/She ensures that production line is delivered on time, Customer shipment is done on time, within expected cost performance.
The role can be summarized in:
  • Develop andimplement improvementroadmaps andaction plans
  • Ensure adequate staffing, training and development of team members.
  • Lead the different supervisor warehouse team and set objectives.
  • Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, handling utilization, HSE, alert management with strong support from PC&L improvement coordinator as well as other plant functions (Quality, FES, ME, and Finance).
  • Ensure internal customer satisfaction: supervise day to day warehousing activities with strong relationship with UAP supervisors, anticipate resources with customer requirements (PIC/PDP) and manage impact of launch of new programs within the warehouse.
  • Ensure full inventory accuracy through proper analysis in case deviance.
  • Control logistics processes: Incoming area and all receiving procedures, Picking area, supply productions lines, respect and control of bookings points, expeditions, alert management, cycle counting in all warehouse locations… with strong relationship with PCL manager
  • Ensure plant implementation of PC&L methods and tools ( JNI, 7IB, 7DB, LISA NG, Cycle Counting, POD System Usage, etc)
  • Provide plant with PC&L standards: Material Information Flow Analysis (MIFA), Milk run, leveling, etc.
  • Communicate Improvement initiatives: train and coach plant employees when necessary and carry out progress workshops in accordance with the plant PC&L manager.
  • Lead initiatives and workshops to identify opportunities to reduce costs & inventories in plants
  • Support management in the implementation of PC&L tools and provide technical support to other functions.
The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master's degree
  • Recognized experience and ability to improve process KPIs in a plant
  • Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication, foreign experience a plus
  • English language knowledge: written and spoken
  • Knowledge of the logistics systems, ability to analyze data
  • Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills
