Our Interiors division is seeking an Account Manager for its Southfield, MI location.


The role of an Account Manager, in the context of a program, is to be the interface with all customer departments (purchasing, engineering, quality, after sales …) for his/her portfolio of products currently in production. 


  • In association with the Development Team, Plant Team, Costing, Productivity Expert, etc..., apply the Group standards (Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management System) in order to ensure the commercial viability of a program during series production

  • Ensure permanent contact with various customer departments, including involving Faurecia teams when necessary

  • Coordinate the implementation of technical and commercial offers

  • Negotiate parts and tooling costs in consultation with the Sales Manager and the customer

  • Ensure that the evolution of permanent parts pricing in line with the Divisions budget

  • Validate the profitability of productivity proposals before submitting any productivity offer to the customer

  • Complete other tasks and projects as required
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.







The ideal candidate will have/be:


Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Sales

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in the automotive industry


    Knowledge / Skills:


  •  Results orientated with strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • International mindset, strong analytical skills
