The Hug Engineering AG, a Faurecia company, is the worldwide leader of exhaust systems for Diesel and gas engines for mobile and stationary applications.

 

Hug Engineering is looking for an Aftersales Representative for its Buford location.

The role of an Aftersales Representative is to work with existing customers and generating new aftermarket business within the Hug industries e.g. rail, locomotive, marine, and stationary applications.


This candidate should possess strong customer & aftermarket sales support, and negotiating skills. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding communication skills, along with the required sales skills in order to fulfill the highest standard of customer expectation and internal targets of Hug Engineering.

 
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for generating aftermarket parts and service sales towards predetermined objectives
  • Builds and maintains relationships with current and newly acquired accounts
  • Grows aftermarket sales with key accounts
  • Works well in a team environment with little supervision
  • Follows up on post-sale customer service
  • Secures parts availability and timely delivery to customers
  • Maintain accurate account database.
  • Manage day-to-day activities and execution of our customer connection – follow established contract review procedures and provide accurate quoting; monitor and oversee shipments, returns, credits and warranty cases; being proactive when dealing with the customer and prevent and anticipate issues before they arise.
  • Ability to reach across departmental boundaries to satisfy customer inquiries. The Aftersales Representative is responsible for managing issues outside the traditional areas of responsibility when required to satisfy a customer or business objective.
 
The ideal candidate will have: 
  • 3 years of experience in aftermarket sales and/or customer service is required
  • B.A. degree or equivalent experience required
  • Proficient with MS Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and have great organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexible availability to address customer inquiries outside of normal business hours and weekends as necessary
  • Ability to communicate and work as a team with sales and service team members
  • CRM and ERP experience a plus
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary
