Faurecia develops electronics & software dealing with critical vehicle systems and user data. These systems need to be audited, tested and protected against cyber intrusion, espionage, sabotage and crime, as well as comply with all applicable (and as much as possible forthcoming) standards and regulations.

 

We are looking for motivated and talented Quality Assurance engineers to integrate our cybersecurity team. This function will be responsible for developing the policies and internal controls for secured design & development, audit our products and closely work with the development teams to deliver necessary corrective action plans in a timely manner, as well as liaise with necessary external certification bodies.



Location : Tel Aviv (Israël).

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Defines and implement the policies and procedures for automotive products secured design and development, adopting the relevant standards

  • Defines and implement the necessary internal controls

  • Participates in the technical design, development and testing of new features and products

  • Defines and implement acceptance tests (scenarios, infrastructure and tools)

  • Executes and coordinate the execution of agile code review by the SW development teams

  • Documents, report and track non-conformities

  • Defines and follow the necessary corrective action plans and validate the proper delivery of corrections

  • Produces the relevant KPIs
  • Liaises with external certification bodies to attest the overall level of protection of our solutions

    The ideal candidate will have/be: 

     

    Education and experience

     

    • Degree or experience in Computer Science, electrical engineering or Computer Engineering

    • Experience in all phases of Secure Development Lifecycle

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar function

    • Experience with code review

    • Experience in relevant military or defense organization units is a plus

     

    Key technical competencies

     

    Required: 

    • Experience with (read, write, approve and if possible (as a plus) perform) acceptance tests

    • Knowledge of Embedded Linux or Android environments

    • Knowledge of secure architecture and secure SW development

      

    Are a plus:

    • Knowledge of Market Hypervisors
    • Knowledge of ARM architecture
    • Knowledge of ISO1540
    • Knowledge of ISO26262 and ISO21434
    • Familiar with networking technologies and protocols (Ethernet, CAN)
    • Familiar with Automotive SPICE

    • Team work: Ability to convince / influence and work with various technical leads in different organizations, different regions and time zones

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to explain / vulgarize technical concepts

    • Ability to define priorities, distinguish mandatory needs versus optional / nice-to-have ones

    • Rigor, methodology, curiosity, pragmatism, leadership skills

    • High emotional intelligence - ability to adapt and to find the best positive way to communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict

    Languages
    • Excellent written and verbal English communications.
    • French, Japanese, Chinese or German are a plus
