Your position and environment?


Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) Business Group – North America (NAO) Division is looking for you as a VIE Division Capacity Engineer m/f for our Clean Mobility Crossroads site in Columbus Indiana, USA.


Your role and responsibilities?


Essential responsibilities and duties:


  • Tracking and reporting capital expenditure (CAPEX) Commitments and spending for the Division
  • Operational up-keep and validation of MacLoad equipment capacity database
  • Strategic modeling of division equipment footprint scenarios and project support for strategic moves



Your main missions will be to:


  • Collect technical and financial data of planned CAPEX investmentTrack open purchase order spending on CAPEX accounts to determine risks and opportunities to forecast and, as needed, work with PO requestors to update PO status and drive on-time spending.
  • Initial entry and up-keep of equipment operational data (cycle times, production volumes, TRS) into MacLoad.
  • Acquire and load plant specific equipment data into MacLoad
  • Provide technical and statistical analysis of capacity planning data
  • Prepare CARs (Capital Appropriations Requests) for capacity equipment within the Division
  • Project support and management for strategy, capacity and investment initiatives



The mission will last 18 months.



Who are you?


  • Master degree in Engineering     
  • First professional experience in a manufacturing operations environment


  • Demonstrable analytical, strategic, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience working at various levels of a large organization including presenting to director level roles

  • Computer skills: Experienced with MS Office

  • International and team oriented mind-set, experience working with international teams

  • Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma experience

  • Basic knowledge of business accounting principles
