Our Faurecia Excellence System (FES) Division is looking for a Productivity  Engineer for its Wentzille site - Missouri - United States.
 
The Productivity Engineer is responsible for the process design and implementation. The main missions of the role are to:
 

- At Plants level, provide support for FES X.0 Implementation including Health and Safety, Quality, Production, Logistics and Production system based on Lean Manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets.

- Follow-up of the FES X.0 fundamentals deployment plan of the plants, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.

- Provide, according to the needs, FES knowledge and skills to the plants team through training, coaching and education.

- Propose and promote best practices between the plants (FES network)

- Participate in Division level workshops to test the new "lean concept" or advanced tools.

- Follow the TVO productivity actions with the plants, animate and participate to workshops.

- The mission will last 18 months.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:
 

 

Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in English

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience within a production environment

  • Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI's within a plant using FES principles

  • Previous plant launch experience and previous management experience is a plus

  • Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills

  • Ability to train and coach

  • Continuous improvement mind set

  • Ability to master change

  • Understand basic P&L and operational levers

  • Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans

  • Able to travel to different plants in US and Mexico to support the plants if needed
