We are seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition for our corporate office in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The role of the Head of Talent Acquisition is to build, lead and develop a state of the art recruiting and employer-branding  organization for the US, covering the entire spectrum of a wing-to-wing, integrated Talent Acquisition function. 

The main responsibilities of the role are to:                                          
  • Roll-out  the global Talent Acquisition strategy to meet the needs for Faurecia in the US

  • Provide leadership to the US recruiting and HR marketing team and ensure continuous further development and growth

  • Ensure a consistent Employer Value Proposition and Employer Branding for Faurecia in the US

  • Build strong candidate sourcing and recruiting capabilities within the recruiting team, ensuring high level of  business acumen, in depth understanding of relevant industries and excellent functional knowledge among the team, for the positions we are hiring

  • Improve hiring manager and candidate satisfaction throughout the touchpoints our businesses have with Talent Acquisition

  • Support the transition of Faurecia from a traditional Tier 1 automotive supplier to a provider of complex, truly high-tech and digital solutions for the next era in the automotive industry

  • Deploy and manage relationships with our external partners/suppliers selected at country level for our recruitment activity: job boards, recruitment agencies etc.

  • Ensure full respect of recruiting policy, process and tools including our e-Recruitment System by all stakeholders: coaching / training / support

  • Ensure an on-going flow of candidates and the creation of talent pools in the country through ad hoc campaigns and targeted attraction initiatives, as well as by fully leveraging the many possible pre-recruitment mechanisms and by building strong ties between the Group and target schools

  • Ensure that the Talent Acquisition team is taking ownership and driving the wing-to-wing recruiting process from approval through to the successful closing of the position

  • Constantly improve results of the US team with regards to speed, quality and costs, including achievements of set KPIs

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Multiple years experience in a Talent Acquisition leadership role in a global organization of the automotive, aerospace, or technology industry with strong focus on innovation and digitalization

  • Proven track record in building strong in-house candidate sourcing capabilities and continuous creation of pro-actively sourced candidate pipelines in technology and commercial functions

  • Successful experience in an executive search firm in addition to in-house recruitment functions is a strong plus

  • Expert in candidate selection and deploying assessment frameworks

  • Evidence of successful employer branding work in traditional and digital channels

  • Used to work successfully in a multi-matrixed business environment 

  • High energy level and entrepreneurial spirit and ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Strong customer focus and used to deliver excellent results also under time pressure

  • Excellent presentation, project management and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to engage and motivate stakeholders around transversal projects: HR, Communication Operational Managers
