Your position and environment?

 

Our Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) Business Group – North America Operations (NAO) Division is looking for you as a VIE Innovation Production Development Engineer m/f for our Clean Mobility Crossroads site in Columbus, IN, USA.

 

Your role and responsibilities?

 

Your main missions will be to

 

  • Support the innovation projects through the iPMS system (Integrated Port Management System), coordinating activities of expert, CAD and using project planning tools to track, ensure the delivery of projects in line with Customer and FCM requirements.

  • Use Engineering expertise to ensure product reliability and project robustness (Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Design of experiments (DOE), etc.)

  • For Fueling/M0 innovation steps, give technical inputs/ideas to Innovation

  • For M1~M3 innovation steps, guide the projects to achieve the technical competency.

  • For Pre-development with Customer, he/she needs to give the technical support for Customer Business Units (CBU) and Application Front Office (AFO) for successful project completion which can be linked to Request for Quotation (RFQ).  

  • Conduct Risk/Opportunity analysis, develop and implement appropriate action plans.

 

The mission will last 18 months

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to solve problems on your own as well as work in a team
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • International  and creative mind set
  • Problem solving techniques
