Our Interiors Division is looking for an Innovation Project Leader - Chemistry to be based at its tech center in Méru (Hauts-de-France).


 
The Innovation Project Leader - Chemistry (m / f) insures the definition, development and validation of innovative products for the Business Group and contributes to building the research portfolio.


 


Main responsibilities: 


 


-    Lead innovation project aligned with technical targets, planning and budget according to innovation process deliverables:


  • Collaboration with suppliers, customers, partners

  • Define product/process FMEA

  • Interface with other departments (quality, Labs, process workshop, experts, marketing, costing..)

  • Define and deploy project validation plan

  • Prepare and present project milestones to Innovation management

  • Write needed product/process guideline of his/her innovation


 


-    Achieve technological & market intelligence and competition analysis


-    Contribute to innovation session to set-up new innovation solution


-    Make intellectual property follow-up


-    Promote subjects for which he/she is responsible both internally and externally and participates in the construction and updating of all means of communication (internal, external and marketing support)



His/her activity would be particularly focused on the development of new polymers (matrix and compounds): synthesis, tuning, formulation, interfaces with reinforcement, characterization, compound process and process ability


 


 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

 

  •  Organic chemistry, specialized in Polymers
  • Polymerization process

  • Knowledge in reinforcement natural and mineral  fibers

  • Technical analysis and characterization

  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)

  • Knowledge in extrusion process (ideally reactive extrusion process) and injection

  • Knowledge and experience in Project Management process

  • International  experience and  mindset, Able to work in multicultural and foreign environment                  

Experiences:

      

-    PhD + 3/5 years’ experience

 

-    Or bachelor in Engineering with 5 years’ experience
