Your position and environment?


Our Faurecia Interior Systems Business Group – Asia Pacific Division is looking for you as a VIE – Junior Program Sales Leader m/f for our site in Yokohama, Japan.


Your role and responsibilities?


Integrated within the Sales Organization, the Junior Program Sales Leader is in charge of supporting FIS team in Sales & Business development activities for all Japanese OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Your main missions will be to: 

  • Develop the appropriate intimacy with his/her customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering and Programs departments):

    • Build relationships and develop trust with key staff in the client’s organization

    • Regular visits with preparation and minutes, supervised by Senior Sales Manager

    • Get key intelligence from customer contact, and share our strategy with them in order to find win-win business conditions to be realized

    • Monitor the level of customer satisfaction at regular intervals or after each significant step   

  • Conduct analysis and support day-to-day Sales activity

    • Collaborate with cross-functional team to compile data for customer requests (part numbers, volumes, specifications, etc.)

    • Ensure that permanent evolution of parts pricing is in line with budget and validate the profitability of productivity proposals before submitting any offer to the customer

    • Maintain record of negotiations steps/progress with customers, prepare “lessons learned” document after customer decision to improve processes

    • Manage reporting activity: follow-up on internal actions plan, maintain Sales KPIs, consolidate information and prepare regular presentations – targets, strategy, and achievements - for upper management.

    • Conduct market analysis by gathering relevant information (product, customer, supplier, competition, etc.) and present recommendations in a business decision oriented format

    • Interface with Faurecia internal network to keep internal database up to speed 

  • Prepare the commercial offers to answer on due time to the customer’s requests:

    • Prepare costing files by leveraging relevant network and information

    • Propose and get validated the targeted pricing and the negotiation path/tactics to convince the customer

    • Ensure proper documentation of all prices and written communication to customer

    • Formalize the offer with the appropriate wording

    • Understand and apply the guidelines proposed by the hierarchy regarding contractual management

  • Support Acquisition activities:

    • Understand the Business Plan & RFQA (Request for Quotation Authorization)

    • Preparation and update of the commercial offers following hierarchy’s instruction

    • Conduct profitability analysis for new acquisitions

The mission will last 12 months.



Who are you?

  • Master’s degree in Sales, Business Development or Engineering
  • Minimum bilingual – Japanese and English
  • IT skills – MS Office, especially Excel and databases management
  • Organization and financial understanding
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, International mindset
