Our Faurecia Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for its Toledo location.
 
 

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing and monitoring all maintenance activities to ensure quality product, schedule attainment, minimal downtime, safe work environment, and labor efficiency.  The main mission is to:

 

                                                                                                                                     

 
  • Supervise and control all maintenance activities to ensure high productivity and low downtime.

  • Monitor maintenance requirements to ensure adequate and efficient staffing.

  • Monitor and / or maintain inventory of expendable tools and materials to eliminate downtime.

  • Monitor equipment / machinery, schedules recommended repairs / replacement to improve quality and performance.

  • Perform HSE line audits for new programs, hoshins, etc.

  • Create and follow up of HSE action plans associated with HSE line audits.

  • Build and maintain plant risk analysis, through plant audits, HSE Committee workshops, etc.

  • Conduct 8D problem solving for all OSHA recordable injuries and submits to applicable personnel.

  • Assist with major division projects.

  • Enforce plant safety rules, QS 9000 & ISO regulations

  • Maintain all facility related equipment and ensure minor repairs to building fixtures, plumbing and electrical fixtures are performed

  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections.

  • Oversee operational data, such as pressure readings, fluid levels and preventive maintenance records

  • Coordinate with production times to perform scheduled maintenance

  • Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facility equipment.

  • Give advice on technical specifications of a new facility equipment, making sure manufacturing, Health, Safety and Environment and maintainability requirements are met

  • Set up requisition for supplies, for facility equipment and building repair.

  • Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime

  • Follow the ratio expenses against budget and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening: subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy consumption, security systems…

  • Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance

  • Perform a start of shift safety sign off to ensure that all safety features on assigned equipment are operational

  • Maintain 5S standards of the maintenance shop and offices.

  • Assist coordinating and completing all plant moves.

  • Manage MRO requirements, crib stocks and max/ min levels.

  • Participate in problem solving teams.

  • Adhere to the Code of Ethics

  • Adhere to Code of Management

 

 

People Management

  • Staff, train coach, assess and develop the plant Maintenance team as well as tool crib and tool & die personnel

  • Support and train other networks/functions (PSE, QSE…)

  • Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians and engineers

 

 

 
   
 

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering   
  • Trained in Faurecia Excellence System
  • Good financial skills (costing, budget, investment)
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to interface with other functions - Networking capabilities.
  • International mindset
  • Strong communication skills, ability the ability to manage a team
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
