Our Covers and Foam Solutions is looking for a Material Planner for its Production Plant at Talmaciu, Romania.
 
The role of a Material Planner is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs. The main missions of the role are to:
  • • Build the Acquisition Program, dividing and leveled out purchases of materials and raw materials.

    • Follow the Acquisition Program, managing alert systems and tracking the download, receipt and transport of parts.

    • Observe the supplier's deliveries performance ("supplier Misdeliveries Per Million") and partner logistics services on a daily basis, and propose appropriate plans for improvement actions.

    • Provide the necessary data for the weekly schedule.

    • Direct management of raw material packaging.

    • Ensure that logistics agreements respect the procurement objectives and support conditions established by procurement and packaging suppliers and logistics partners for transport and services.

    • Verify that PAC requirements can be met by suppliers and implement corrective actions when needed

    • Fulfills any task given by the direct or senior manager in connection with job responsibilities or compliance with legislation

    • Keeps the confidentiality of the information, the documents it works with, as well as the personnel information it comes into contact with

    • Comply with all provisions of the Collective Labor Agreement, the Internal Regulations, the Code of Ethics and the Labor Protection Regulations and the PSI and all legal provisions

    Document Validation Authority

    • Purchase orders issued to vendors

    • Supplier Performance Assessment Documents.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience in production in an industrial environment
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
