Your position and environment?


Our Faurecia Interior System Business Group – Europe Division is looking for you as a VIE - Plant Launch Engineer m/f for our Site in Peine, Germany.


Your role and responsibilities?


The VIE Plant Launch Engineer will work in a team that is in charge of the launch and industrialization in the plant of a new project for a car manufacturer. As part of this team, the VIE Plant Launch Engineer will have to support the Plant Launch Team Leader and the Plant Launch Team, which is responsible for the preparation and the launch of the production of the new program.


Your main missions will be to:

  • Definition, analysis and creation of the production layout and material stream analysis, including material flow and information flow.
  • Definition and creation of specifications for machines and equipment.
  • Support Run@Rates and Mass Production Trials.
  • Coordinate work package tasks related to the new project and ensure their accomplishment.
  • Creation of the Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Key Control Characteristic (KCC) & Poka Yoke for the new project.
  • Evaluation of the ergonomics and efficiency system for the operators for the new production line.
  • Reporting and documentation activities (KPIs, Launch Book, Launch Presentations…).
  • Perform part measurements for capability studies.
  • Support for the industrialization of the new production line.
  • Support the Manufacturing Engineering Manager in ad-hoc topics 



The mission will last 24 months.



Who are you?

  • Master Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
  • Strong team player with intercultural thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible.
  • Target oriented and creative.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer skills (MS office, Power Point, Excel, AutoCAD is needed. SAP & 3D Software is a plus).
  • Good language skills in German and English.
  • First experience in production, manufacturing or in the automotive industry is a plus.
