Our Covers & Foam Solutions is looking for a Process Engineer for its Production Plant at Talmaciu.

Track and implement, in serial production, improvement actions using FES tools and methodologies. The goal is to increase productivity and quality.

The main missions of the role are to:
  • In SOP / Project Transfer, pilots the needs of equipment and devices;• Perform and develop standard operations (balancing): combine tasks for n, n + 1, n-1, as well as equipment and workflow requirements;• Coordinates the production of Initial Samples according to the technical documentation received from the product engineer, with its support whenever required;• Pilot the PFMEA team;• Makes validations in the working instructions; monitors work instructions;• Makes  working instructions when launching the product in seams;• Handles scrap analysis and proposes corrective actions when appropriate;• Monitor Kanban, make inventory of Kanban cards, modify racks;• Responsible for detecting the causes of production problems and implementing the corrective actions related to the problem;• Organizes workshops and is involved in standardized workouts and Kanban for new employees and training plan• Responsible for establishing the level of versatility in accordance with the need for the gap; monitors versatility;• Responsible for the ergonomics of the workstations;• Responsible for the transversality of improvement ideas and security actions at UAP level;• VAVE at the process level (eg, unifying the parts, removing the profiles);• Follow and review the Standardized Work documentation;• Collaborates with the quality department and quality engineer of UAP;• Train supervisors in production processes;• Validates the feasibility of the process and capability of operators, machines and materials;• Manage efficiency (ramp-up), dealing with technical balancing (cars, flow);• Edit the model inventory for the department inventory.


The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Master's Degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Good technical skills on product and process
  • Strong communication skills
  • International mindse
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
