Our Decoration Division is looking for a Program Development Leader (m/f) for its Research & Development Center at Kennelbach (next to Bregenz - Austria).
The Program Development Leader is responsible for the leadership of the development process of products and tools in terms of project objectives (quality, costs, delivery times) including customer specifications, internal specifications, legal basis, FAURECIA standards and best practices in accordance with the group standards and the budget. The main missions of the role are:
  • Implementation of the project objectives with the respective Program Manager, Engineering Group Leader and central R&D
  • Achievement of all project objectives (e.g. product quality) according to project planning
  • Ensure timely achievement of all functional milestones
  • Participation in the tool production process
  • Responsibility for product changes and their implementation
  • Specifies product and tool definitions
  • Responsible for monthly reporting
  • Supports production start in the factory
  • Travel activity up to 50% (mainly between Austria, Germany and Poland)

The ideal candidate will have:
  • University degree (master), preferably in engineering studies
  • At least 5 years of experience (in an industrial environment and/or product development experience as well as technical project management experience are a plus)
  • Technical background is desirable (injection molding, metal processing, as well as experience with varnishes)
  • Good knowledge of the complete product development process
  • Results orientation with good communication skills
  • International mindset
  • At least bilingual (English and German language skills are an absolute necessity)
The law obliges us to name a salary here: according to the Austrian collective agreement, with 38.5 hours per week the salary will be at least € 2,785.54 per month. The actual salary is based on your experience and qualifications and is far above the collective agreement standards.
