Faurecia Ultra Lightweight Structures and Battery Powercase Systems, a business unit of Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM), is involved in the design and the production of structural car body parts, openings and trim parts out of multi-material composites (fiber reinforced thermosets and thermoplastics, hybrid metal-composite parts etc.) and their components. It is also actively working on the development of battery packs to prepare the future of mobility. Its research center is located in Saint-Malo, France.
Faurecia Ultra Lightweight Structures and Battery Powercase Systems is looking for a Program Development Leader for its Headquarter in Saint Malo.
Purpose of the job :
The Program Development Leader is responsible for managing the technical development of one or several programs. The Program Development Leader is fully in charge of the product & process definition.
 The main missions of the role are to:
  • Be involved from the acquisition phase to SOP +6months.
  • Be the technical leader in the Core team and in front of the customer.
  • Ensure technical coordination between the product and other process functions dedicated in technical team.
  • Strongly participate in the basic design of the parts, taking feasibility manufacturing and site constraints into consideration.
  • Validate the design regarding the customer contractual requirements.
  • Participate in the technical meeting with customer and suppliers
  • Ensure good in time convergence in term of quality, cost and schedule for Engineering   
  • Manage product/process modifications.
  • Manage the respect of the budget: development hours, engineering change request, Scrap, and cycle times.
  • Ensure the respect of the planning for technical activities          
  • Report the technical performance, hard point, action plans, and indicators on a monthly basis;

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Engineering Master degree in Mechanics- Plastics - Design
5 years of experience in Product Design, Process Engineering, Product Development and/or Program Manufacturing /
Functional management experience.
Knowledge of plastic processing technologies
Design and mechanical resistance knowledge.
Fluent in French and English, German is a plus
Basic financial knowledge
Capacity to lead complex projects and global teams
Capacity to influence customers
Capacity to prioritize and make decisions
Customer negotiation skills
